The University Technology Management Team (UTMT) articulates the Information Technology strategic direction for the University of Illinois in areas where strategic directions are common for all campuses. It promotes continuous improvement in shared infrastructure and offers a vehicle for identifying opportunities for collaboration across campuses. This team serves as a conduit for identifying areas where enterprise-wide standards should be developed and fosters the development of these standards. The UTMT also reviews, promotes, and sponsors, when applicable, Information Technology projects that have enterprise-wide impact.
